Palliative care is not the same as hospice

Palliative care aims to help people die with dignity, cared for emotionally, physically and spiritually. Jack Levison is a professor of Old Testament Interpretation and Biblical Hebrew at Southern Methodist University and Robert L. Fine is director of the Office of Clinical Ethics and Palliative Care at Baylor Scott & White Health. They join host Krys Boyd to discuss the history, present-day methodology and future of end-of-life care. Their book is “The Pursuit of Life: The Promise and Challenge of Palliative Care.”
