Leadership Lessons From Women of Color

For many women in the workplace, especially women of color, obstacles and doubts are often internalized. Cecilia Muñoz was the director of the Domestic Policy Council under President Obama and is now vice president for Public Interest Technology and Local Initiatives at New America and a senior fellow at Results for America. She joins host Krys Boyd to talk about how to gain confidence, leadership and the respect of the room when you’re in the minority. Her book is More Than Ready: Be Strong and Be You And Other Lessons for Women of Color on the Rise.
