Crowther, associate professor in the Department of the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine at the University of Oklahoma, joins host Krys Boyd to discuss the surprising links from philosophies of ancient civilizations to today’s abortion battle grounds, and what women should understand about the roots of public policy today. Her book is “Policing Pregnant Bodies From Ancient Greece to Post-Roe America.”
