Nina Totenberg on her 50 years of friendship with Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Nina Totenberg met Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the early 1970s, when she was a newspaper reporter curious about a legal brief the law professor had written. The NPR legal affairs correspondent joins host Krys Boyd to talk about how those early conversations developed into a nearly 50-year friendship with the future Supreme Court justice. Her new book is “Dinners with Ruth: A Memoir of Friendship.”
