You might be surprised to learn that bees possess intelligence that rivals our own. Lars Chittka is a professor of sensory and behavioral ecology at Queen Mary University of London. He joins host Krys Boyd to discuss the sentience of bees – from their ability to learn to having an emotional life – and the moral obligation we have to help them survive.
