What’s really happening when we dream

Every night as we sleep, our brains concoct entirely new worlds outside our conscious life — and science still struggles to understand why. Antonio Zadra, professor at the Université de Montréal and a researcher at the Center for Advanced Research in Sleep Medicine, joins host Krys Boyd to talk about neuroscientific insights into our dreaming minds. His book, co-authored with Robert Stickgold, is “When Brains Dream: Exploring the Science and Mystery of Sleep.”
