An immigrant’s survival often teeters on the edge of hard work and exploitation. Anna Qu teaches in the MFA program at New England College, and she joins host Krys Boyd to tell her story of estrangement from her Chinese immigrant family after she turned them in to the Office of Children and Family Services for overworking her, and the consequences that decision carries has 20 years later. Her book is “Made in China: A Memoir of Love and Labor.”
