Jennifer Egan Takes On WWII In Latest Novel

Jennifer Egan won a Pulitzer Prize in 2010 for her book, “A Visit from the Goon Squad.” She joins us to talk about her new WWII-era novel, “Manhattan Beach” (Scribner), which tells the intertwined stories of Anna Kerrigan, the first female diver at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, her father Eddie and Dexter Styles, a New York City club owner and organized crime boss. The book will be released in paperback June 5, and Egan will talk more about it June 11 at the North Richland Hills Library.
