Jennifer Egan Takes On WWII In Latest Novel

Jennifer Egan won a Pulitzer Prize in 2010 for her book, “A Visit from the Goon Squad.” She joins us to talk about her new WWII-era novel, “Manhattan Beach” (Scribner), which tells the intertwined stories of Anna Kerrigan, the first female diver at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, her father Eddie and Dexter Styles, a New York City club owner and organized crime boss.
