Parasites are the most abundant lifeform on Earth. Scott L. Gardner is curator of parasites in the H. W. Manter Laboratory of Parasitology at the University of Nebraska State Museum and professor of biological sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He joins host Krys Boyd to discuss parasitology around the world and how these tiny creatures offer insight to the evolutionary history of regions. His book, co-authored by Judy Diamond and Gabor Racz, is “Parasites: The Inside Story.”
