In 2011, Jesmyn Ward won a National Book Award for her novel “Salvage the Bones.” And this year, she became the first woman to win the award twice, this time for, “Sing, Unburied, Sing.” In September, she talked with us about the book, which has drawn comparisons to Toni Morrison and William Faulkner.
