Globally, a large percentage of all available vaccines have been purchased by wealthy countries. Amy Maxmen, a science journalist at Nature Magazine, joins host Krys Boyd to discuss what low- to middle-income nations can do to gain access, and if those countries are prepared to distribute vaccines once they obtain them. Her article, produced with support from the Pulitzer Center, is called “Unseating Big Pharma: The Radical Plan for Vaccine Equity.”
