Living to a ripe old age is everyone’s goal – and researchers are developing new techniques to have us functioning at a high level even in our later years. Daniel Levitin is a professor of psychology and neuroscience at McGill University, and he joins host Krys Boyd to talk about what he calls human life’s two stages: “healthspan” and “disease span,” and explain how brain science can promote the former. His book is called “Successful Aging: A Neuroscientist Explores the Power and Potential of Our Lives.”
