Over the last five centuries, the Alba family of Spain has amassed an art collection that includes works by Titian, Van Gogh, Goya, Rembrandt, Renoir and other masters. More than 130 pieces from the collection take up residence this month at the Meadows Museum on the SMU campus, and this hour, we’ll talk about the exhibition, “Treasures from the House of Alba: 50 Years of Art and Collecting” with Alexandra Wilhelmsen, professor of modern languages and adjunct professor of history at the University of Dallas.
