In the first half of the 20th Century, a group of women known as the Dress Doctors schooled American woman on everything from how to make the most of a yard of fabric to how to create clothes that easily transition from home to work. We’ll find out this hour what fashion-conscious women of today can learn from their predecessors with Notre Dame associate history professor Linda Przybyszewski. She’s the author of The Lost Art of Dress: The Women Who Once Made America Stylish (Basic Books).
