Observing Climate Change From Above

Discussions of climate change typically focus on the Earth’s rising temperature. Scientists who study the planet, though, use a number of sophisticated instruments to mark incremental changes in our planet. This hour, we’ll talk with Greg Asner, an ecologist with the Carnegie Airborne Observatory, about taking to the skies to measure these changes. Asner is featured in “National Geographic” magazine’s November issue devoted to climate change.
